This was a family gathering of Anderson’s and Clarks on September 1, 1955 at Lake White in Ohio. Here are some comments from my dad and my uncle Dave.
I remember that trip Uncle Nathan and Aunt Tally (my grandfather, Rom’s sister). Cecil (dad’s 1st cousin) and his wife, Dorothy are the younger couple. Their son Ronnie is the muscular young man.
Dad: “I was very impressed with Ronnie. At that time he was working in a service station pumping gas and making what I thought was big money; $1 per hour! But I was only making $.20 per hour, working on the farm for Kerr Blain and Poppa Jackson. He could water ski and I had never even seen such a thing.
Dave: “I thought Ronnie was the greatest guy in the world (except for Larry of course).”
